ES5, I think it's inffratech with 2 F. Installed it in malaysia. The installer will use a heat blow device to soften up the heat film abit so that it will mold to the shape of your glass. Very professional installation. I see zero bubbles, compare to Vcool on my old car.

VKOOL installer will oso use the heat blowing device to mod the film to the windscreen shape nod.gif I saw the whole process during my VKOOL installation thumbsup.gif

And I know where to find the best VKOOL installer tongue.gif

It's always 1 piece, they will use 2 piece if they can mod 1 piece of VKOOL into the windscreen shape sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif

maybe mine easier ?? my car is HB wink.gif unless their film is so much diff from others that they have to do it in 2 piece. cos, from what I saw at perfect windows & other shops, its all one piece one ( including on a CLK - huge and long rear windscreen)

I'm sure lots of bros here have did their window films ..... care to comment ??

I did mine at Perfect Windows. All one piece niaz.

I did at AB Tint and its one piece

too..

All I can think of for using 2 or

more separate piece is to allow

the Rear Window defogger to work

efficiently??

Well I am guessing but please go back

and claim on that installer cos 2 or

more piece of Film joining together

is not professional..

Ok, finally! here's the joint line pic. taken with flash at full power, so line very obvious.

normally no so obvious, but when sun shines brightly or at night when some headlights shine into cabin ....

SO HOW??? sweatdrop.gif

if remove, will damage the copper wires on the screen ??

Thanks!

(appologies for the very slow response ........)

V-kool have waranty right? So it would be easier to go back and demand a change. If they give you the crap about there is a limit to their skills, then come back here and "advertise" for them. This is what I am doing for Rikecool.

This is definetly not normal, it should ALWAYS come with one piece installation unless your car has a huge front or rear windscreen like those MPV or SUV.

My previous ride was MPV (hyundai trajet) and they do 2 piece installation on the front windscreen, the join was at the 6 inch from the top which they cover it up with the sun shade, very nicely done.

The rest of the car is one piece installation including rear windscreen. So don't get the bull from them that cannot cover demister wire, etc,etc...

Should go and bang table already, 2 piece installation is bad enough not to mention multiple pieces [furious]

I did mine about 2 years back. I remembered the installer told me 2 main factors why one or more pieces. One is the size and shape of the glass, which most brothers already said. 2nd is the type of film you choose - there are a few grades and some are thicker/stiffer and therefore so not so easy to to bend to fit the glass. They can use the hot air, but that is for minor adjustments only.
