Help! Cassette adaptor stuck in HU.

Last week, got myself one of those cassette adaptor that can play ipod thru car speakers. Happily slot in the cassette adaptor into the HU and that's it. HU initially sounds like can't move the tape rollers, then it tried to eject the tape but pulled it back in before I can react. Then the 'tape' mode disappeared so now left with either tuner or disc, and it just wouldn't eject the cassete adaptor. Any one experience this or know what to do? My HU is a Kenwood KRC-388. Thanks.

I thought people would not use these adaptor anymore since there is a radio frequency adaptor.

Read that radio freq transmitter is lower in sound quality. Plus FM transmitter is $60-$70+ while the cassette adaptor is $16+. So was thinking if it is cheaper and gives better sound, why not? Furthermore, read that FM transmittor draws the Ipod battery quite fast. Btw, I got the cassette adaptor at Funan.

the tape types is more of a plug and play type.

both adapter and FM transmitter are not good.

Should buy a cable and direct connect to your ipod.

But the cable can only purchase from US. Can order

online.

i sold my mp3 player and got a mp3 capable HU instead. Too much hassle involved. Must remember to take the player out when you leave the vech etc. If not people see ipod, sure smash window and grab!

Today, the HU decided to eject out the Tape adaptor. Was waiting for someone during lunchtime so just playing around with the buttons on the HU when suddendly, it ejected the tape adaptor. Plugged in the ipod and push it in again and now it works. But seems the tape head is rather dirty as it had not been used for 4 years. Nowadays I wonder how many ppl still use tape.

good news haha at least it works now!! i think it would be quite a hassel if i forget the i pod i think my window would be smashed surly. jus becareful dude.
