Decibel Neutral Newbie March 20, 2005 Share March 20, 2005 As titled, I for one have jumped browsers to Firefox since long time ago and have some minor problems surfing MCF with it. For example i can't see that floating "Threads" bar on the left. Also when trying to change my avatar pic, I can't see the newly saved pic in my profile or posts, rather all I see is just a distorted image of my previous avatar. Minor issues I agree, but it would be great if MCF could become more friendly to Firefox users, as I'm quite sure many of us are on it. ↡ Advertisement
Potheader Clutched March 21, 2005 Share March 21, 2005 i'm on firefox, no problems with it so far. I can't see the floating 'threads' bar, but its no big deal. Other than that, no complains!

Decibel Neutral Newbie March 21, 2005 Author Share March 21, 2005 A flattend green swift? I changed the pic to something else, and i can see the changed pic in IE leh
Admin Clutched March 22, 2005 Share March 22, 2005 Hi Decibel The floating bar is coded in Javascript and some codes needs to be changed to support Firefox. When I have time, I will sit down and take a look at it. As for the avatar, there is no difference between IE and Firefox since it is just an image. I suggest you try to clear your cache on the Firefox to see if that will help. Cheers.
Lingling 1st Gear March 22, 2005 Share March 22, 2005 ehh.. i use mozilla leh.. also no floating thread.. but bo chup la.. the floating thread also no use much.. heheheee
Assassin Clutched March 26, 2005 Share March 26, 2005 Nope, its not a green swift, it looks like a mini formula1 car...the one that S'pore built for a competition? What you can is to do a hard refresh.. ie. CTRL-F5... and the new avatar should show up. Floating threads does not affect me at all. When typing in a url.. you might have to manually set the hyperlink or it may not be done automatically. Other than, I do not have any complaints with using Firefox with MCF.
