I am considering (when there's excess $$$$) changing the exhaust, maybe Remus wink.gif but won't be putting on GT wing or any other type of wing wink.gif. I prefer FUNCTION than FORM thumbsup.gif.

Hi,

To be practical, you could fix the supercharger on your Vito, but could your engine sustain that kind of stress on a long term basis?

Check with Tom in GTR (Bukit Merah), they usually do a lot of mods for cars (NA to SC or TC). Also do ask them if it is advisable to do so.

Remember that adding a SC or TC to your car is not the end of the mod story. You would need:

Intake pipings

Intake, Exhaust manifold

ECU

Bigger brakes or disc all round (with slots)

Better suspensions (speed induced cornering)

Intercooler (if TC is used, even fir SC sometimes) or your engine temp would be much higher.

Fuel injectors (higher flow)

The above mentioned are the major concerns (there could be more).

Besides the higher fuel consumption, you really need to be ready to spend for a safely completed mod. Dun forget that these mods could be clearly visible to LTA inspectors unless your workshop could do a beautiful "stealth" mod (which I have seen before). It's definitely a apin in the a.. should you think of stripping the system off before inspection.

Happy motoring.

Thx a lot for your explanation and I agree with you. However, I won't go that extra length to upgrade the rest other than putting in my SC14, ie mild modification. I will follow a similar setup as with my Jackson racing supercharged D16.
