Good choice. I have fully run-in my Sirion and just clock 16.7/L for my FC.[;)]

My daily mileage is at least 60km and I only pay less than $180 per month. That's good value for money. [thumbsup]

If you travel a lot, this car is a MUST-BUY!

just booked my manual sirion yesterday, euro version. total price was 57488. the SE, ed, was friendly and very courteous, very polite to my parents when i brought them down to see what colour they liked, since i was buying it for general family use.

think the sirion's spacious rear seats and footwell (sp?) space are a plus, since parents are growing older and i want to give them more comfort while driving them. driving a 16 year old starlet with spoilt aircon now, need to wind down windows everytime, haha.

the 3x 3-pt seat belts at the back were very attractive; recently had a family friend who suffered whiplash and back injuries when their car was rear-ended because the centre rear-seatbelt (the one across the waist) wasn't secure enough.

hey, must promote the sirion because i bought it already :) anyone who wants a good SE, pm me. got quite a good deal in terms of freebies as well.

The DVVT is the same as VVTi. Because Daihatsu is owned by toyota, and the Passo by PI is the same car as the STS sirion.

I would buy a bigger 2-3 years old used car for that price of new Siron or Swift.

Cos' I am 1.82m and I need bigger space. And SG's used cars tend to be in very good condition ( small country = low mileage, well maintained, etc. )

Being in a small and hot country does not mean the 2-3 yrs old car is in good condition.

We are small and thus have lots of traffic lights. A lot of start stop actions. Thus engine keeps revving between 2-3K rpm between lights. While in a big country where cars travel more on highways, engine average around 2K rpm, thus lesser wear and tear.

Sirion is much economy than swift, cheaper by 3 to 6 k depending which model u choose. This amount can pump a year of petrol for sirion but not for swift. Find that swift is too over price. Sorry to said that n no offense...........

Quite true the SE at STS sucks but can look for terence(not very sure if he's still there). For those who want to buy sirion, he will give a cash discount of 500. On top it's ur bargaining skill to get the rest. But due to STS lousy marketing strag , he is unable to give fanstatic gifts.

Can you tell me why did you not considerr the Toyota Vios? Also very economical.

My colleague was driving the Suzuki Ignis and was dying to sell it away. The interior looks plasticky, not refine, feels cheap and ride is bouncy. It looks very sporty on the outside but you won't enjoy yourself inside the car. Trust me.

I used to be interested in Ignis Sports, quite a performer, but the interior is a complete put off. Plastic and fake carbon, come on.

Your colleague don't like Ignis, then why did he buy it then? [rolleyes]
