The Sirion loh....

seen both cars in show room... the Swift design will look nice initially as more curvy but it look too much like a shorten Mini especially it has 5 dr and mini is 3 drs... the Swift look will not last. The rear leg room is definately not as good as the Sirion.

The Sirion on the other hand looks simple but the design will last longer than Swift... It actually is the same as the Toyota Passo except that it has a Daihatsu logo... it is still cheaper than the Toyota and much more worth to buy... interior wise... although simple but is interesting that it has a "cute" tacho... 4 airbags... also..... the rear seats can be lengthen n shorten too

a swift loyalist here but...

Sirion has better horsepower and looks more "serious".

Swift has a cuter look.

But all in all, I will still choose the Swift.

Told u that I am a Swift loyalist.. [laugh]

Sirion has better horse power if it's power to weight ratio... but Swift is 101hp vs Sirion 87hp.... but Sirion is abt 200kg lighter i guess

I was choosing between the 2 and I settled for Sirion eventually for practical reasons and getting my car next Tuesday.

1) Space - Leg & boot space bigger than Swift. Got a BB stroller and other stuff, so space is important

2) Fuel Consumption - 14KM/L compared to Swift 9-12km/L (fr a fren who's driving Swift) (of course, the dif is 1.3 to 1.5, one is lighter than the other)

Exterior, I think Swift looks good but interior Sirion is better (like the Napa Leather, the one they use in BMW). Honestly, driving the SIrion is a piece of cake. Engine is powerful enough except that brakes are a bit soft. But more importantly, I get to save on fuel cost, which is important becos I travel a min of 60km per day.

I went to take a look at the Sirion today. The driver's seat is very nicely shaped and supportive. But the driver seems to be sitting rather high although the seat is adjusted to the lowest position. It somehow makes the driver fearful of making sharp turns. But it's a family mini MPV, not a sports car anyway.

I think the Euro sports version looks cool, esp in silver colour.

Bought from Jeffrey at STS Kallang. Honest fella.

Took the Euro, not worth paying $3k more for the Euro Sports

hmm... i dun find it a mini mpv... to me, it's more of like a hatchback... the YRV more of a mini mpv but it's still a hatchback to me....

MPV to me is at least 6 seater and mini mpv to me is a small mpv from 5 to 7 seater but greater maneuverbility and head room than standard cars...and at least 4.00m long in length
