The latest Sunny Ex has the new 1.6 CVTC engine... slightly better FC and power compared to the 1.5 VIP engine.

You have tested the VIP before, no power ? So do you know the FC of the VIP ? Thanks. [;)]

A cousin of mine used to drive the VIP and he used to complain about the power and fc. I noticed that the one in the pictures above is and Auto which will definately have a very slow acceleration.

Even the new auto Sunny has a lousy acceleration but very good at higher speeds. When i test drove the Manual and Auto Sunny i could easily feel the power difference. The manual Sunny is very impressive in terms of acceleration.

Actually I dun really mind about poor acceleration, but how is the FC ? Did your cousin tell you anything like full tank can only run up to 400km, something liddat ? Thanks. [:)]

I think it's only available in auto. I find it quite nice and luxury but a bit cramp at the rear. VIP from PI is slightly more powerful, FC wise not too sure. should be roughtly about the same as sunny. maybe u can use 10-11km/l as a rough guide

Yep, Sunny quite luxurious with conti feel, and heavy with contributes high FC. But I not sure about the VIP SS, that why I asking anyone knows about this car can share some comments. [;)]

Owned a VIP EX version before. FC is 12+km/l for my driving style. Car is weakest at mid range imho. It's not powerful but suffice as a point A to B transportation. If price is good and you need a minimum type of transportation, go for it then.

BTW, it's quite ok to service as well. Usually less than 100 bucks for normal oil change at Autosaver.

Appended: I second the lack of space in the rear bench. Boot is quite ok though.
