Acneo Neutral Newbie March 16, 2005 Share March 16, 2005 I think all the cars about the same now. the components and parts are sourced from about the same places. Every car manufacturer is trying to lower cost structure in the face of rising raw material cost. Steel prices up so much.

Arah Neutral Newbie March 17, 2005 Author Share March 17, 2005 Why must change gaskets? Leaking oil into the coolant system issit? Quite stupid right? Fix something that is not broken. Yup its Stupid! to change the gasket when theres no leakage. There always a chance the new one will leak due to workmanship .
Mivec9 1st Gear March 17, 2005 Share March 17, 2005 how abt when got bubbles at radiator..need to change gasket?
Arah Neutral Newbie March 17, 2005 Author Share March 17, 2005 Bubbles in radiator , you should check your radiator first see if theres any faults that causes these bubbles. Bubbles in the radiator might destroy your engine bro , it will lead overheating of your engine and then only you need to change your gasket cause the old ones are screwed due to over heating. Arah Neutral Newbie March 17, 2005 Author Share March 17, 2005 Drain plug, buy one Fumoto and solve it once and for all. Tell them lifetime of vehicle no need to replace sump drian plug. Briliant as usual but i''l only come out $$$ after my maintenance contract with them is no longer valid .

Nerd_on_wheels Neutral Newbie March 17, 2005 Share March 17, 2005 sound like a design fault. But are all optra owner facing the same problem ? There is quite a numbe of optra on the road already, they should do a recall to fix it if its a common issue. Or is it for certain batch only ?
