40K Servicing - To replace ..........

Hi bros & sis,

Been been a whlie since i posted .

Heres what i'm been scheduled to replace for my 40k servicing next month.

 

1) Replace Oil Filter

2) Replace Gasket

3) Replace Drain Plug

4) Replace Gear Oil

5) Replace Coolant

6) Replace Air Filter

7) Replace Spark Plugs

8) Replace Air Con Filter

9) Replace Brake Fluid

10) Replace Fuel Filter

 

Anyone familiar with the term high tension cables and its function?

My old civic last time 40k servicing cost me a wooping $400++. SO how is pricing for Chevy servicing ?

40k scv cost ard $430..... alt 20k,40k,60k... all 400++

Thats like paying tribute every 1 year. Either way, car already buy, I just gotta live with it already

just bear with it till 60k or 3 yrs which ever comes first than go out find outside workshop servicing...

I have no idea, but the last time my high tension cable burned out, I had neither power nor brakes...

Seems to be a very important cable to be able to kill the brakes & the power.

Me no nuts bout this cable wheres the guru ? maybe can shed some light here?.

Me booked the servicing on the 2nd April, dunno how much need to pay for the extras, as for the barang barang on the list, its already covered.

 

Been losing about 50k milage lately , its either my fuel gauge going bonkers or the heavy right foot syndrom has relapse. Should be the fuel gaugelah .....................

Heard there's a problem with the fuel guage on the Optra right? They sure are taking their time to resolve this issue...!

i tot high tension cables are cables that carry high voltage/amps... in a car, it would prolly be spark plug cables and for the starter motor...

 

i cud be wrong tho...

Why must change gaskets? Leaking oil into the coolant system issit? Quite stupid right? Fix something that is not broken.

Drain plug, buy one Fumoto and solve it once and for all. Tell them lifetime of vehicle no need to replace sump drian plug.

You think the optra can last the 10 yrs without defect that endanger lifes ? I hope to drive this car for 10 yrs, but I got bombard everywhere about how korean cars still start dieing after warranty period over.

I don't think its only the Korean cars... I think all cars in general start dying after the warranty period....

heh, tats a nice 2nd opinion thou. Hope 10 yrs later, I can come here to post, MY KOREAN car survived 10 yrs, with nothing more than the usual workshop visits !
