Lancer brudders!

Any answer to my question below please??

I heard c&c servicing very slow & quite expensive though. Given my mileage and age of vehicle, if i send to my own mechanic for servicing, will that void the remaining 1 yr Mitsubishi warranty? Or is this an urban legend?

I just bought a second hand black Lancer Sports 1.6 CVT three weeks ago too. 2 yrs old car (Jul 03), 44K mileage. May go to Kallang to see you guys this Sat. Not part of SLC yet though.

Now, the previous owner sent to C&C for 1K & 5K servicing. Last servicing was done @ C&C 1 year ago.

warranty's still valid for my car. 3 yrs or 60K km, right?

[bigcry] sad that it was not 100K Km then....

Sorry for being pedantic but when you said "no urban legend", do you mean "no, urban legend"="no, it's an urban legend" or do you mean "no urban legend"="this is no urban legend, it's the truth" (i.e. i must always send it to C&C for servicing during period of warranty. If not, warranty will be voided once i send to mechanic.

In order to hve the warranty the owner must service the car at C&C, if not wrong its stated at the service manual. The previous owner onie service for 1 & 5km. So for 10,20,30 & 40km servicing its not done at C&C thats why i ask its yr warranty still valid with C&C.

yeah man , i agree, wif the CVT, its nice and smooth...

wats the Hurricane drop in filter for ?

Recently, i just fitted the door sill with illumated lights (for 4 sides) when u open the door, and i also fix the sun visor...

the door sill wif illumated blue lights v nice... costs abt $160.

The Hurricane filter is a stainless steel filter that replaces yr

original paper filter. Will increase the air intake to the engine

which helps in inproving power of the car.

Cheers.
