This thread has been dead for 6 years and it is now revived.

Bring it for your next servicing and get WS to advise you on the overall car condition.

Congrats ! Now you can go vroom vroom with it.

How's the mileage? Maybe you want to verify with the dealer again to see what has / has not been changed during the service and if possible, get him to show you the invoice / receipt to make sure that all need-to-change parts has been changed. At the same time, take note of them for your next service.

my friend's M3 gearbox failed at less than 100k. Anyone has this similar experience? [:(]

It really depends on a whole lot of factors and just to name a few:

1. driver's driving habits ie, changing from D to R when the car has come to a complete stop.

2. proper preventive maintenance, ie, changing the transmission fluid every 40K

mileage 120k :(

Yeah full servicing done by dealer before handover and engine untouched. Fitted with full original factory bodykit thats all.

Drove from Ubi to kranji and kranji to braddell and its 1/8 tank petrol gone...my pocket's gonna bleed in the future...haha

Used to drive my company's renault kangoo and the FC is super low

Haha, you gotta go easy with your foot. Petrol is a whole lot more expensive than diesel.

Now you gotta your ride, the next step is to see which petrol station you wanna feed your thirsty mazda. If you are into Shell, take note the V-power for 98 promo is back this Friday to Sunday from 7pm to 11pm!
