Sure. Every car maker will have bad press once in a while but there are a few things u wanna consider when buying a car.

 

Assuming ur bro-in-law is financially capable of buying Gen2, what is he looking for in a car?

 

For me, I'll consider things like being able to carry 5 adults incl driver, have a proper boot cos i do a lot of purchasing for my line of work. And of course liking the overall looks of the car is oso an important factor. No point buying a car which u dun like for other reasons.

 

Bad press or scandals dun really deter ppl from buying cars in Singapore.

It's down to their budget really.
