There will be a list of thing in the DO, your SE should go thru with u one by one. Things that u expected to be fitted , must be fitted... Whatever outstanding stuff must be penned down. On engine, check the lights. The some kilometers on the odo is normal. Ask about the run-in method. ask petrol grade requirements. ask about tyre pressure. Drive out with your SE. Listen for unusual noice.. squeeking suspension, rattling from panel.. enjoy your car.

Wreckwrx 1st Gear March 3, 2005 Share March 3, 2005 If u have a regular mechanic, it will be good if you can send the new directly to them the moment you collect your car. Get them to do a thorough check. If there is anything, at least it is still under waranty and the agent cannot dispute because your car is still "fresh"! That's what I did when I collected my car. Apart from some minor blemish (eg. tiny black spots on headlamp), he certified that the condition of the car is brilliant!

Slayer Clutched March 16, 2005 Share March 16, 2005 What car u getting? new car got this thing called 'the warranty'. so minor minor annoying problems can get it fixed for free at the expense of time. should not have big problem. it the minor things like little dents, scratches, rattles.. that get to the nerves, especially its freaking brand new car. :) just make sure u get the correct car that u have ordered. and those 'freebies' that is agreed upon is delivered too. .. ↡ Advertisement
