Madarmour Neutral Newbie November 29, 2002 Share November 29, 2002 The Sach Sporting Set (shocks and springs) is apparently favored among the BMW club. The springs are actually made by Eibach.
Wrxblue 1st Gear November 29, 2002 Share November 29, 2002 Hi If you are driving a EK model Honda Civic you can try Sachs performance set for you car..it has 4 levels of height adjustments and the springs are tuned with the shock absorbers, hence it would not compromise ride comfort with improved handling... Diesel 1st Gear November 29, 2002 Share November 29, 2002 How much did u pay for it bro? I had a frd driving G7 corolla changed to Hotbits coilovers (in Malaysia) after 5 months sagged and changed to something else... worst part was he paid over S$800+ for the set! No offence hor? But the way he drive really TEROK lah, CUP corners & almost redline every gear one I guess Hotbits shouldn't be that bad, maybe my frd got the CHIONG set from JB!!! Wrxblue 1st Gear November 30, 2002 Share November 30, 2002 (edited) My info is from my company.. I am from Sachs. Which authorised workshops did you check with? Probably you would like to PM me. The set consists of 4 lowering springs and performance shock absorbers. Stiffness is about 20% stiffer than the EK4 Sir. Yes, it is height adjustable there are 4 slots and height adjustment is by shifting up and down the lower spring seat and supported by a circlip. Damping is not adjustable though.
