I have always like the 206, especially the 206CC ... more for the sleek design and cutness..... but the price [sweatdrop][sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

However, my view change after I went to France last year... the whole country is overrun with 206 & 307. All are manual and diesel version...and the 206 cost only about 40K over there.. and guess what... i actually saw the new BMW 5 series (the one with the cat eye) as a taxi

they used to have 1.6 which i believe had better interior or at least more sturdy door handles laugh.gif, but the price even for a 2nd hand was a put off... now only the 3-door XS is 1.6 right? not too sure tongue.gif

oh well...

hmm....i didn't know they got a 1.6......then again, if i have the focus at this price, i won't think of the 206 at all

HI fellas, i saw a banner at the Sin Ming Golf Range and thought I come snoop around! [crazy]

I own a old Renault and am thinking abt changing to Peugeot 206. Seems quite beautiful and comes with the manual-automatic gearbox. Any feedback on this car??

dave

The new model 207 will be out in Europe later this year. So 206 can considered as outgoing liao.

Another thing is that BMW and Peugeot are also jointly developing new petrol engines (BMW will put it in its Mini models.) Imagined a peugeot with BMW engines! But it may be a few more years before we see it.

hello FAST REPLIES man!! [cool]

206 is selling for 69000 now. but this model is how many years already?

Just read the Car Buyer and seems like Fiat coming? I had a Fiat 124 Sports before. Anybody know their prices? Can find a number to call them.

dave

Hi

The 206 is coming to an end soon and therefore lower price.

For more info on 206, go to Club Peugeot SG at http://pugsforum.devin-glady.com

206 has been around since 2000 and is due for renewal anytime soon.

Nice styling for the hatchback ah, liked the interior, would love to test drive one. See why people buy Peugeot.

Erm volkswagon also a normal brand lor. Much like say wat hyundai or nissan would be here. the Golf Gti costs 18k pounds in England. In singapore the standard Golf costs 90+ k n the golf gti costs easily 120+k onwards.

when i was looking for my new car, 1 factor i look at was "head-turning" factor.( Priceless ) [sly][sly]

my biased opinion, was to go for either a Peugeot or an Alfa. (subject to individual head turning inclinations!) [gossip]

then it was down to the budget.I ended up with a 307 instead of a 156! [:p]

"and tat sing toilet slippers"

err...sorry to sidetrack, but are those the brown (non-japanese style) slippers with the semi-circle holes in the side? the ones very popular with hawkers in the past?
