Width of S40 bootlid

Hi S40 owners,

 

Can you help with the above? I need your help to measure your S40 boot lid width. Reason is, I am trying to find out if the S40 boot spoiler will fit my car and I don't know anyone else with a S40

I'll try and check mine for u (hopefully, if i can remember). Actually $380 is not so ridiculous as I hear the original Mazda 323 spoiler is already $400+. There are 2 types of S40 spoilers. The std single coloured one and the one wif the piano black inserts in the centre (like the ones u see on the 1.8 Sport or T4 - 2002 models only)

I think it's $380 unpainted, although quality is top notch.

 

Should be able to get a Malaysian custom made one for half the price

 

Soya, your T4 comes with the piano insert spoiler right? That's sweeeeet!

Yup, at first i thought the piano black insert was an extremely smoked lens for the spoiler brake light. haha

Checked the width of the bootlid already, off by 2.5 inches! The S40 boot is just that little bit wider. The overall width of the spoiler is OK but the spoiler stands are just a little bit wider because of the S40 bootlid width.

 

Managed to get some dimensions from one of the sites TB mentioned. Too bad, I really like the S40 boot spoiler. Maybe I'll change to the S40T4 next time I am looking for a turbo brick myself

Juz went to check - overall bootlid width is 125cm. Looks like no Vol-pel for u huh?

 

Do join the reVolvolution n get the T4 if u can. U will not regret....
