i always thought soundstream was like $500 for the lower end ones.. then the vangough series is like $700 like that..

Bro, i know that you are into ICE. Just like to find out, for a typical component speaker like CDT CL61, is it 4 ohms or 2 ohms? Normally what type of products run at 2 ohms and what type of products run at 4 ohms?

In answer to your 1st question, CDT CL61 should be 4ohm, but check your manual to confirm.

I was using the CDT Eurosports.

Typically, its components are 4ohm most of the time.

Some subs have dual 4ohm or dual 2ohm. End result depends on how its wired.

Maybe you can tell me why u asking if 4 or 2ohm, then can advise u further.

The reason for me asking is that because the amps nowsadays have specs to state how much power into 2 ohms and how much power into 4 ohms. So if I can determine the ohms of the components, I can then decide which amp to choose so that its powerful enough to boost them.
