Don;t WASTE you money on the 3M car mat, mine was not as good as the standard 3M selling at AutoBac. The customized ones are thinner and do no hold well, Yesterday my maid took one out to duat it and it was tattered. I think it is too soft + too thin compare to the orginal non-custom 3M.

Thanks for the warning bro! [sweatdrop]

Any bros know how much the standard 3M mats costs for sedan? I saw at Stamford 88 for rear 3 pieces and 68 for front 2 pieces.

I brought the 3M brand, but cut to measure. I think the standard 3M universal car mat is thicker and the edges are rounded and cured to prevent torn through rough handling. THe custom onse are just a quick & fast DIY, I think they need to improve, else what's the point paying more for "LOOK". I did rather buy the off the self 3M car mat made in 3M factory. Beside the custom 3M car mat might be of different materials. I just brought the off the self 3M and the smeel + material feel is rather different from the cutom make 3M.

Maybe this what we call the differences between Toyota Soluna vs Lexus GS300 - although both made by Toyota?

2 cents

just did my 3m mat at maxtrend costing $210. Also went to autobac saw something similar to 3M mat, but have to cut yourself. Currently autobac having a offer at $22.90 only. But dont think can last long for such cheap price.

thanks for sounding out. I was just about to go for it after thinking about for a long time. Yes the non-customised ones are thick and heavy. Feels very luxurious when stepped on. If it torn just like that, man this is a big disappointment from a company of this reputation.

I think that the 3m car mat is really damn expensive [furious][furious][furious] .

I think the normal type that is sold in the petrol station better . Somemore 1 piece on $5 . Somemore water proof. That one is better [thumbsup][thumbsup][thumbsup]

Thanks i've been eyeing those for a while already.... for them to go on sale [laugh]

if one can see beyond the price, they are good stuff. But a big issue for me is that they are rather thick, which is a good thing, but if not cut to fit, the flooring then will not be flat. I can't imagine having that in the car.

I have consider cutting them, but man i think it will be dam siong...
