Servicing of gearbox....

hi....my gearbox is currently running a bit of prob....whwen i change fast from 2nd to 3rd gear...there is a loud noise...i think my synchro is gone....do any of u guys and gers noe of places which i can service my gearbox????....preferably some plc reliable and price reasonable.....any recommendations???...thks...

try redline lightweight shockproof gear oil. It worked for my 180. The guys from skylines australia and aussie supra club all swear by it. syncros are damn exp to replace.

I think you can just buy an imported gearbox from scrap cars in Japan, most mech can do it for you

or go to scrap yard to find some replacement. usually those in good condition, they'll remove & sell as recon. can get quite cheaply..
