PU/fibre material..range from rm500~1000++ depending on the kits u choose

itz advisable to spray in sg coz better workmanship & safer...unless u dare to leave yr car in JB for few days...if they rush to spray within a day also quite risky that yr paint end up uneven, flow mark etc.

Better source for a trustworthy & skillful spray workshop in sg

There's a place near Serangoon I saw did customized bodykit from fibreglass for Hondas and Skylines... called Super Modern or something... near Syed Alwi road...

Wah, that is expensive if spent few K. I just did mine. Choose from other car kits and they customise to fit. Total damage is 1200rm. Could be cheaper if no need to customise.

Material is PU but they cut some parts to fit and do up with Fibre+Raisin to connect.

The shop is opposite carfoure in JB.

Check it out at www.arashi.com.my

No, spray in Singapore. So far, i'm following other chevy owners' thread.

Normal spraying about 280. If got a lot to touch up, i was quoted 350 but manage to bring down to 330.

After visiting the paint shop, i would advice to take kits that just fit nicely or as a whole piece with only alterations at the side. Mine got a lot of alterations.. side, middle. So a bit untidy and difficult to touch up. Lesson learnt for next time.

Also, Arashi uses rivots. They say stronger but my painter said glue better because if ganna knocked, won't crack at the touch up area. Don make sense to me lor. If knock will crack, then glue one also will unless they don intend to touch up and leave the gap there so that bodykit and car is seperated then will not crack lor.. just dislodge.

usually customised kits are rivot on.. cant bolt on, as it may not be nicely fitted.. anyway, RM1200 consider not bad, after all, it is PU material.
