Where can I get it? Heard there are few sizes depending on your engne's cc... [sweatdrop]

If possible, always choose the biggest one if your engine bay can fit in. The rest of the size is not really useful at all. Estimate cost >$400++++++++

Here you go...I cut and paste from another forum.

Available stainless steel made gng aka vaccum tank!

if 1.6 = S$80

if 1.8 = S$120

can arrange for installation..... add S$30 and includes stainless steel clips and high pressure hoses!!

proven good and is meant for auto cars which will have a max. effect..... as for manual cars... the effect is not as great! (please note that gng aka vaccum tanks only helps in throttle response.... not make your car feel as though it got a turbo inside!!)

Interested?? Call 94550667....Clark

Can you elaborate. How does capsule generate vacuum or what characterize vacuum reservoir?

Does it leak air from atmosphere in, thus lead to drawing more air?

Care to share how to diy vacuum tank?

I need to diy a oil catch can which is similar to vacuum tank? It is just a can that goes between PCV and intake manifold.

I feel a lot of small things that has to do with performance for cars are very subjective to the large variant of drivers and make of the car. I totally agree with you, money is best spend on something confirm can see one (of coz, lap turbo and supercharger is another story)

Leather seats, glooming, nice rims, car mat, ooooo

I ain't expert here. Previously seen brake booster looking like empty cylinder. Its extra vacuum does improve braking if the brake fluid line is functioning well.

Similarly, if big enough cylinder is connected close to intake manifold, wouldn't there be an extra vacuum continues drawing air in-between every induction cycle?

These vacuum tanks only is effective for low displacement engines and low vacuum idle engines. Low vacuum is caused by big overlap timing of the intake and exhaust camshafts.

Did you notice why big displacement cars have smaller intake plenums compared to small displacement cars? Think about it.

At high rev situations, these extra tanks are a burden not a plus. You need short intake lengths for high revs.

Hi,

Just to enquire from the method of installing your capsule :

1. Between engine PCV (crankcase exhaust bleeder) and intake manifold or

2. Between air intake filter box and 2 way bleeder (located mostly on top of engine cylinder head) ?

Regards,

Thanks for the reply, you mean connect the hose between the air intake box and the engine bleeder (mine located at engine top which is near cylinder head) ? Currently, there is a hose connected between the PCV and the air intake manifold which is originally stock installed.

1)for the PVC hose, if u dun intend to put oil-catch tank, then leave it alone. I find this location is the least effective for throttle response. [shakehead]

2)Yes, connect the capsule at this hose. These only two methods to put vacuum tank thingy, and the other is at the brake booster's vacuum hose. [;)]
