How to apply 3m swirl mark remover

hi all,

 

need to ask how do u guys apply the swirl remover ?

 

is it the usual up and down strokes or in a circular motion to remove the swirls ?

 

is it also dun apply too much in case it gets haze ?

Hi aikshin,

 

There are different ways of applying it, there are already instructions on the back of the bottle.

 

This is what I normally do:

• clean the affected area, make sure there are no other loose dirt around
• squeeze a bit of the 3M SMR onto your finger and rub it into the affected area in small circular motions, try to rub across the scratch/swirl marks rather than along it
• leave for about 30 seconds before buffing with a cotton or microfibre cloth
• repeat process again until the swirl/scratch marks are less prominent
• apply some sealant over the area to protect it

N.B: You cannot totally remove the scratch/swirl marks, you can only make it look less obvious.
