Does anyone know where to get Osram silverstar headlamp bulbs? They are said to be better than Philips visionplus..

I tot VisionPLus was rated above silverstar....according to AutoCar UK.

Really. Maybe they have updated the rating. Hmm.....I'm interested to find out about the price and where to get it. May have to order online and have it shipped here.

I'm resurrecting this Osram Silverstar thread.

 

I found a source of it from my ramblings around in Autoworld forums.

 

The shops in Malaysia carries Osram Silverstars. Just got to look for them. Some guy did comparison and here it is below:

I already got my Phillips VPs already. Will consider them when one of them blows. Next year perhaps. Around MYR80 for a pair. After conversion, around the same price as VPs.

The osram silverstar is not as bright as the philips visionplus. The original headlamp of most Ford vehicles are using the osram silverstar.

 

Actually it also contribute to the design of your headlamp like the shape and size to determine the brightness. 2 cents worth
