Donno abt u guys... But I seldom use the windscreen water gun... [:p]

Sorry donno wat to call it... Anywayz, when i tried to shoot the water gun, no water came out... The water resevoir is to the max yet nothing happens... I believe that the gun is stuck or maybe the rubber tube also stuck...

Anyone came across this problem b4? Wat did u guys do to clear this problem? Can share with me? Cause right now, i got dirty windscreen with no water gun to shoot water from... [sweatdrop][angel]

Hi, I believe you're referring to the windscreen washer jet. If you dun use it for a long time, the tiny holes tend to plug up with dirt and grime from the road and atmos.

You can clear them by poking them with a needle or pin [:)]

But poked already leh... How deep must poke ah? The damn water gun like got nothing stuck inside leh...I scared i poke it too deep... wait cannot shoot water anymore... [sweatdrop]

Assuming you have manage to clear the nozzle and tube, the next step is to open up the bonnet and look for the small motor/pump usually located at the side or near the washer bootle.Get an assistant to activate the washer and place your fingers on the motor/pump. Once the washer is activated you should feel some movements if not then chances the terminal contact is bad or there is no 12volt input supply. Pull the wire terminals out and clean the contact surfaces and at the sme time check the fuse and 12votl supply.

More likely is the water pump system is faulty... To verify further, you can drop by Servo to have Dennis look into it for you... No worries...

erm... it seems that this "Dennis" very popular with all the Skoda owners as compared to it workshop SA "Sammo"... I wonder why... [confused]
