Carstyle Neutral Newbie December 27, 2005 Share December 27, 2005 Oh..ok. That's why no one commented... Need to wait couple of more months lor... Well, after clocking more than 20k km on my set of "uncle" Maxxis MA-652 tyres, I must say that the treadwear rating must be more than 500. I can hardly see any tyre wear, just like new. Have done a couple of trips up north, including Genting. A bit noisy on the cement stretch of N-S, otherwise quiet tyres. Surprisingly, when I was on Preceda, I had 6 punctures, all the handiworks of some kind of screws and nails. On this set of Maxxis MA-652, none yet. Maybe they like to go for branded tyres as well.
