Poortraveller 1st Gear January 6, 2005 Author Share January 6, 2005 changed the wiper to a new one already, just that the stain, as wat dwoon said, etch onto the glass ... when clean with glass cleaner, u dun see the mark but when it rain and the rain water will somehow "bring out" the mark and turn the windscreen into multiple drain ... Ahdi Neutral Newbie January 6, 2005 Share January 6, 2005 (edited) use polishing cream to rub..... those autogylm polishing cream to rub the stain it will come up..those for car body de....no haf to specially buy those car glass polish... alternatively use pen knife blade to scrup.......scrub as in rubbing on the vertical side....dun go along wif the blade, it will make lines on ur windscreen.......hold the blade and acrub it down .....hokkien call use blade to "kao" when u use glass cleaner, it would onli somehow form a layer of protection on ur glass, rain come the protection gone then the stain would come back liaoz.....jus like putting wax on ur paint and sometimes wax will be gone oso. the onli way is to polish up the stain jus like u polish stain on ur paint work oso...... try my way....it helps... Deanchew Neutral Newbie January 6, 2005 Share January 6, 2005 I have this problem too and had tried a lot of product and found Autoglym Glass Polish and Autoglym Windscreen Cleaner to be very good. Some Japanese Glass cleaners are also very good. Do not use polishing cream for paintwork as it would be worse as polish cream come with waxes and would adhere to the screen. I had tried once and had to use the above Glass Polish and cleaner to get rid of.
Leonknapp Clutched January 6, 2005 Share January 6, 2005 anybody know how to remove the memory mark, stain or watsoever u call that on the windscreen? those marking of the path of the wiper that will appear whenever the the windscreen is wet. anyway to remove them for good? I apply a pure sealant like Zaino or Klasse that does not contain any wax. They cover the marks well and do not cause wiper damage or juddering. Cheers!
