Mine currently about 11.5km/litres..on the road for almost 2K.

Intial 1st half tank only about 10km/l..slowly move to 10.8.. after 1k servicing then can get 11km/l.

IMHO.. driving habit important.. nowsaday... foot off the pedal when seeing red light at a distance away..providing no car behind..and keeping below 2500rpm.

Just me

Just completed my first tank for my new ride.... abit .

FC is 9.37km/l.

Using Caltex Gold (ron 9.

I go for slow pick-up... light foot...rpm <2400....below 80km/h.... I believe the FC can be better than this.

Will continue to monitor my 2nd tank....

Hi, bros.

Jus wondering n pondering ....

my jus full 1st month ride, mileage at 3500km,

e FC is still Average 10km/L only.

30% highway

is it normal... ????

WORRIED man !!!

Looks like the famous Altis VVTI engine is not so great afterall. Average is 10.5 km per litre ! I am getting 11.5 to 12 for my Manual Optra. My Bro is getting average 10 km per litre for his Auto Optra !

My FC for my Optra 1.6A is ~9 KM/L. This is without traveling on Highway.

You need to know that FC can have a difference of 2 to 5 Km/L with a lot of factor, so I do not think that this factor can give you a very good comparison to buy a car.

It is very difficult to have a perfect car (Like getting a wife or husband), for me I compare the up front cost of each car of the same engine capacity type (lifestyle and size of the lady), the interior space(inside of her), comfort and services(while in bed and at home).

Over all me and my family are a happy owner of this car.

so far my optra 1.6A consumption averages at abt 9+km/l [sweatdrop] . my prev optra 1.6M used to be abt 10+ close to 11km/l. should have stuck to manual. [bigcry] handling superb... cornering at high speed best cos the car quite heavy and stable [thumbsup]

aveo sedan? The aveo 5 (hatch back) is a pretty cool proposition, with its 4 disc brake and abs.

Guess shouldn't be surprised that fc for chevies could be better. Weight could have been a factor too?

NOT Good!! - Drove the Aveo, the Optra and my own Captiva ...previously the Vivant too. And watch out for the cheap plastic interior. Look nice but hard to maintain and prone to scratches....IMO.

Better off with Jap cars!! But if you want the heavy solid feeling of continental cars, Chevy is the way to go. Not surprised if they have 'lead' weights in the undercarriage.

Check the OMV price and compare them to the same Jap car type. You'll be surprised too.

Since we're essentially talking about Korean cars, my Rio 1.4L Sedan (M) has been letting me enjoy 15km/l+ for the past 3 years.
