I've driven the auto V8 and V12 Vantage models. The transmission was very disappointing. The V8 was a car I felt I could never live with, and only the elevated power of the V12 made it tolerable. I can't imagine the manual being any worse, given that a manual is usually much easier to get right. Manual anytime. Pity there's no manual to try out here.
