I am thinking of getting the latest Opel Combo 1.7L for my business. It will also be used as a family weekend getaway vehicle.

 

I wish to seek your opinions about this vehicle as to its fuel consumption, maintainance, performances etc.

 

This is my first time getting a vehicle. Thanks.

BTW, I thought the Combo is a 1.9 diesel turbo? Hey, you can chip the ECU and you will probably beat lots of cars for the 0 - 60kmh sprint.

d combo is 1.7 turbo diesel. gd fc. based on corsa platform. now even comes with sports rims, but can only seat 2 persons, incl driver. :(

By right: Seat 2

By left: Stick the "5 pax" sticker at the back and put a sofa in the cargo hold (At least that's what my friend did)

Before I forget.... it is a 2 door "car" with lots of low end torque, good fuel economy running on cheap diesel. BUT all these with CHEAP road tax + CHEAP insurance!!

i sat in a new Opel Combo just a few days ago, i can only tell you that it really goes, it has immense torque and the interior is sweeet! the steering wheel is chunky, it has radio controls on the steering wheel, has ABS and Zafira brakes, the vehicle can go up to speed so easily, handles well and still get about 800km per full tank! It is also Euro 4.
