Filled to the brim on the way back from JB over the weekend. (till can see petrol near nozzle)

 

Start off 200 m towards custom and realise fuel guage showing only slide above 3/4

 

Thought takes awhile, continue driving till I reached the JB custom full tank.

 

Chop chop passport (all in abt 15 mins) and start heading for S'pore customer, instantly down to 3/4 again and stay there till I reaches home.

Did not bother and later found this morning I am still at full tank What is going on Will monitor for the next 2 days and see see.

Many of us here have the same problem. The fuel gauage thing is really

Same same lolx. Anyway same engine mah. Optra luk bigger from outside but interior is abt same but Optra5 design is more sporty, tat's wat I lyk abt. The problem wif both optra, probably is too heavy. Stable on the move but stress on up-slope. The most obvious diff is Optra 5 cost way more.

Think Optra5 is about 15 to 20cm shorter in length then Optra sedan.

 

Yes, can feel that the car is very stress on the up slope... wonder is it because it's too heavy

yes... too heavy for a 1.6L... like all Korean makes..

 

But when there is a up slope.. sure got down slope...

Yayaya, I agree. By the time u reach down slope, whole lot of cars honk u liao.

No lah.. not so bad lah.. You dun dare to step harder is it ?

As compared to other car it's very bad. Step to 3k rpm can only reach til 70+km/h. 1 of the route I hate most, 4 eg: BKE exit to SLE( after the turn, appear a slope.) Normally after the turn I'll move to left lane 4 other car behind me to pass. Den after the slope I overtake dey all again. I drive corolla move up lyk chicken feet.

Hi...just came back from oversea.

 

I sent my optra in for a test on speedometer. SA changed a whole new set for me man! At least the problem solved now. Keep my finger cross it never come back!

 

By the way, I do encounter some "clak clak" sound sometime during the ride. Seemed like it is from interior. Heard of it?
