Sound Proofing the car

I currently have dual layer STP Aero in my doors, floor pan, wheel arc....

 

any way to better the soundproofing?

 

Am driving a lexus, but im lowered on coils and on 20" wheels with 30 tyre profile so.....trying to reduce all the noise...

You put sound proofing under the bonnet?

 

That will help reduce engine noise.

 

Got rubber seals on the door to reduce wind noise?

 

My car had tuffcote sound clad for undercarriage, you put already?

car soundproofing is a complex technology as sound travel through body structure into the cabin.

 

leave those bnb car aside, tires noise in a bmw 7 series is pretty obvious too.

 

your cabin may feel a bit quieter by using taxi tires.

Under bonnet stock from factory have, door seal have added the insert inside the rubber to cut wind noise...

 

tuffcote really got use? i heard its pretty useless leh..

hyundai includes tuff clad for their avantes, quite useful in cutting some noise i guess.

I soundproofed the same areas as you, with the addition of the dr artex red wind rubber seals at the doors. I did the rubber seals last, and I find them more effective than any of the soundproofing mats that were placed. i did one layer. effect was amazing i did a second layer

hi bro, how much for both? 

i was quoted 600rm from CCS for 1 rubber seal which i assume is on the door but not the car body

if 2 seal will be 600rm x2?

from what i know it won't because its your car internal and doesn't affect any specs of your car

one point to add on, based on condition of malaysia road vs Singapore road i believe everyone can see which road has a better road condition to drive on

 

so in this analogy a reputable malaysia sound proof company if is providing these services for years and not much negative feedbacks, i presume the soundproof works even better here in Singapore.

So i will go to JB for any soundproofing (of course need to do your homework and search for critics and reviews)

2 cents thoughts - not promoting any JB SP shops

i did the red wind at CCS too. do this better than those diy rubber seals around the doors. Its not cheap but can see a lot of work in the installation. of course much cheaper than if do in sgp lah

anyone notice your ride if open front door, at side of door hinge is it possible to see thru an opening gap between front fender and front body chassis? Where you might able to see the front wheel well (inner side) too ?
