anyone notice your ride if open front door, at side of door hinge is it possible to see thru an opening gap between front fender and front body chassis? Where you might able to see the front wheel well (inner side) too ?

Sure. Cos the front side panel is removable for replacement purpose. The gaps are accessible for the mechanic to access and remove the panel due to damage or whatever.

so the road noise/engine sound will travel thru here and into cabin quite easy.

any recommended method to seal up this gap opening to minimize noise ?

What I see ppl do is add sound deadening on the wheel arches front and back. Best leave the gap alone.

It's difficult to eliminate noise coming into the cabin. Your car  windows are something to you cant add insulation to. Only luxury cars come with "acoustic glass". That will greatly reduce the noise. Your windscreen and windows covers like 50% of the car's cabin. So if you are able to reduce noise by 50% using the sound insulation way that's pretty good already.

There's a limit as to what you can do. The most you can do is add insulation to metal bits but not the windows and windscreen. Then there are also other factors like the type of tires you use, how hard is your suspension settings, how big your rims are, etc.

my idea is to close up the opening that i can see thru into the front fender/wheel well area, not filling up gap which is not possible.

may be get a sound proof sheet, cut into shape of the opening and seal it up. Wonder anyone done this before and the recommended material type to use ?

Door rubber seal?

Those think rubber where you go roung the frame of door. Some assy shop can do it for less than 100.

Not sure that would be of any help.

Alternatively do like Mazda. Relocate/add a speaker to chest level ( right at door handle level) instead convention left bottom of the door. Hope it can cancel some road noise.

Wah a lot of efforts!  (All these Contis so noisy!)

Last 20+ years I have not touch the sound systems/proofing in my cars.

One cost effective way is to change to quiet tyres though!
