hehe...I had similar problem a few days back.

It seems that my exhaust (back portion) was too high up. So when I am on low gear, climbing up a steep road, the vibrating exhaust will vibrate and hit the the car body. Hence, the noise (ranging from plak plak to farting noise).

Solution from my mech, use his leg and push the exhaust down a bit.

No more noise now...hehe. [thumbsup]

Maybe, you are having the same problem?

Take out the cover (on both sides to be safe) and put silicon sealant (black one for cars) along the areas where the cover would touch. Wait for it to dry and then reattach the covers. Works a treat.
