geez.. black is always a problematic colour. I brought my black car to glare (which guarantees shine for 1 1/2 years- cost somethin like 500+ if i remember correctly..) and no choice... give the car a hose down every other day.. very cham..*sigh*

So far so good. quiet and responsive, and takes corners well. hafn run in yet- still on my first tank.

Btw guys, do petrol stations have a vacuuming facilty? My car quite dusty inside and i got no portable one

I am driving a 1.3L 93' swift.($18,444 COE..end 8/2011) Mine has power windows, power steering and side mirrors. New battery and going to change timing belt. Sorry to hijack this thread but I am thinking of selling it for about $20-21K. Would anyone be interested. May be possible to give $1K cash back.

cool tat there are so many swift owners comin out to this thread.

 

goin to meet another swift owner from another forum later. cos he is a moderator there n knows a lot of swift info, including lobang on swift parts as once in a while he got friends scrapping swift.

 

so go down to meet him see wat comments he have for my swift n wat improvements can be done as my current engine a bit cannot make it liao.

 

maybe can try changing engine, take a GTI engine to 4 dr swift, but inspection sure fail. haha...........

he recommended tat i install strut bars in the bonnet n boot. n also a roller bar( i think so) underneath the car. as he said handling of the car will be much better esp during bends or cornering.

 

will give it a try, see really got improvement or not.

 

asked him also see when his friends got any pple scrapping swift, then might take those swift will fuel injection engine to replace my carburator engine. cos he said fuel injection engine better fc.
