A few times, I really drive only the computer shows 0km and the needle is on the Empty line...Managed to pump in 53.6l...so I guess left 1+litre in tank...

Volk74 - not yet but contemplating to get one and wanted to understand more in terms of the fuel consumption. I heard that the Octy is a petrol drinker, just like my Sunny today.

What does your rpm show when the car is crusing at 90KM/h?

I wouldnt called the Octy a drinker like the sunny cos the octy is much heavier than the sunny. Ride comfort and handling vs the sunny, need I say more. So if you can achieve around 10-11km per litre is considered very good liao for a 1.3ton tank!!

2750rpm... is this auto or manual?

isn't it quite high?

i've read the new Octy techical spec and the FC for the FSI is just 6% better. not alot hor?

6% is based on U.K. review and Skoda U.K. technical broucher.... not sure about local fuel though.

If it is really only 6%, how to justify the additional cost of the FSI model based on FC alone? How many drivers actually make full use of all (max) the horse power generated by the engine?
