Cooling Temp guage problem ?

Lately, i found that my cooling water temperature gauge needle could not reach the middle position.It is sticking at the low end of the gauge and it does moves.

I have checked the wirings and found all to be ok.

Do not know if this is related to the quality of the coolant.

The car has done about 10,000 km since I took over in May 04.

I also notice this happening to my car. The needle only rise when i drive without air con. Any advice bro?

It is the original meter in the control panel.

 

I was caught in the jam from JB to SG on thursday evening and the meter moved into the midle position.

Do not know if it is time to flush out the coolant and change a new one.

 

Maybe the water fails to heat up or the engine is running cold ?

 

Really put my wits to its end.

Hi !

 

It looks a bit strange, normally it will shoot up after the aircon is cut in, more load on the engine.
