It needs to be so long to reach SG? I see..

The current gen global production starts at Oct 15, but Singapore only receives the first batch by Aug 16.

Delay is due to retooling in Thailand factory, and strong demand in other markets back then.

For the facelifted version, even if the retooling process is shorter and supply and demand are balanced, still have to test for VES banding, which does not happen in 2016. So I believe it will take almost the same delay period.

Then get the 1.5T version.

My budget is $43k is included my accord paper value + body + roadtax + insurance + remain numberplate.

Also I don't need a turbo engine cos I not young and dangerous that is my 80's period.

anyone got contact for kah motor SE that can provide discount / freebies? met a couple of SE which were irresponsible and gave incorrect information.. can almost confirm deal if can provide good price/freebie. thanks!

Hi,

I put a $3K initial deposit for a new Honda car but had to cancel the order due to some personal reason. Kah Motors not willing to refund my deposit but they willing to transfer my deposit to another buyer as a special case.

Rather than forfeit all the $3K, I'm willing to discount $500 off the deposit to anyone interested to buy a new Honda. Everything will be done legally at Kah Motors so this is a legit deal. If anyone is interested or know of relatives or friends who are interested, please msg me at 98077700.

Hi, I am on my first car Mazda 3.

Intend to change car. And interested in either City, Cerato, Civic or Elantra. I am not affected by the technical specs as I am a slow driver. Just want to have the car that I feel nice in apperance and the driver interface features.

I am in a dilemma whether to stick to Jap or switch to a Korean. Kinda feel like Japs is somehow still superior versus the Koreans. If I take a Korean is like downgrading myself? (No offence, but only general hearsay that I observed among people around me)

I hope experts here could share your comments?

TBH go test drive. I actually feel Korean cars are on the par and may offer better bang for the buck.

Hi. Just a comment.

I owned a hyundai avante.

4th year flyseal cracked and leaked engine oil. Expensive repair.

7th year transmission cracked and had to be repaired. Again expensive repair.

Changed car at 7 yrs plus.

My bro had a kia cerato

5th year computer seized or cylinder cracked. Dunno what really happened but car was shaking itself apart as he drove......expensive repair

8th year radiator spoilt. Nearly caught fire...... expensive repair

But he drove it till 10 years so up to you to think how good it is.

Previous family car

Nissan sunny - drove for three years before trading in. It was a family vehicle or aka village bicycle. Less than three years hit 124000 km so servicing was expensive and coe was going down then.

Toyota Altis - 10 years. Never heard of any issues.

So my opinion is that Japanese cars are more durable though features wise Korean might be better.

I am driving an accent now because it is the last of the b&b manual cars. In fact my preferred colour did not exist anymore so i bought my second choice colour and it was the last unit....

Might change to a Honda city after a few years.

Hi,

I have just sent my Honda civic for the first 1000km servicing.

The person in charge asked if i want to take up the ultra-sesl package at around $688 for two services.

It is supposed to make the car body more resistant to scratches etc.

Wonder if you guys take up such package usually?

I did and in my opinion, it is not very useful.

So I don't recommend taking it.
