I am getting interested in Shuttle Hybrid.

 

Anyone knows what platform is the current Shuttle build on? The previous one is based on Jazz/Fit, this current one looks more like City/Grace. Can anyone confirm?

the shuttle from 2015 onwards are all on a common platform which is fit/vezel/freed

 

same 1.5g for petrol and hybrid which is the same one you are looking at. btw just ordered a shuttle petrol

How many of us are willing to pay more for a JDM? Given our price sensitive sentiment, not too many IMO... that's why a 2 airbag Civic with a decade old engine can still sell..

Civic was only recently re-introduced in Japan, it didn't really get the same level of popularity compared to rest of the world.

Anyway, don't think Kah has a say, should be mandated by Honda.

The reason is because this current Civic is released in USA first, then UK, then the rest of the world. Japan is probably the last country to have this Civic. And Japan stopped selling the Civic for many years prior to this current model cos it's not popular.

 

PI get the Civic from UK, Swindon plant which also produces the Type-R. In south east asia, most countries assemble their own cars. In China, they also produce their own Hondas for domestic market. Welcome to globalisation.
