If you want your car to look nice the next couple of days, at least till the next downpour, then you can give your car the gleam it deserves. But frankly, IMHO, it's just similar to any polish/shine program offered by most.

But after you send your car there, you will be feel shiok because your car looks brand new man [;)]

Think the price is $150+ for first time......then subsequent it's $60 each (i think)

you may also consider the other packages offered by others...check out the other postings for feedback. Have fun here.

Hi Lufu,

I wouldn't say its useless or not worth to conside, like some mentioned, System 6 is no different from other glooming centre that does routine polish/sealent. Choose the product and the price, go for the popular brand.

I signed up with those operates at the basement car park of shopping malls, knowing they are using Soft99 still consider OK. price average about $80 per visit and able to use it within 3 years. I did the first (free) session 1 week after i collected my new car, so far i am able to do my own polish every other week, but i also know that after excitment run out [laugh] maybe after 6 mths, the service will be very handy to maintain the 'showroom' condition [thumbsup]

Just my 2cents [thumbsup]

[:)] Hi LuFu,

I did the system 6 four months back for my new car, paid $165, I did it on a

saturday, many cars were already there waiting to be groomed, they told me

it will take three hours, so went for lunch. Went back abt two hours later, saw

my car was near completion, went for a check, and found that they did not clean

the car properly before applying wax on it(wax on dirt!) could also see dirt on the

rim. Told the supervisor there abt it, he then asked one of his guy to touch up on

it. Not a professional job IMHO. The shine lasted one month, after two washings

the wax was gone too. if you just want an average grooming, system 6 is fine, if

you are looking for more, looks else where!

Cheers!

Hi Lufu,

Had mine done with the new car 11 months back.

In less than 2 months, I got water marks after a downpour!?! Was very disappointed when I called and queried Tuff Kote on the matter so I approached Auto Glym to do the job. It was perfect. [thumbsup]

The shine last till now (about 9 months) with occasional waxing with the resin polish and regular shampooing with the car shampoo. [;)]

Will probably send the car back to Auto Glym for another grooming session after my in-camp on 29 Nov...(23 days under the hot sun/rain in the base is no good for the car... [shakehead] )

How about amazing glaze compared to system 6? anyone tried that before? I enquired and the guy at Amazing Glaze quoted me $350 for one time application or $650 for package.

Hi!

I have tried those in shopping centres previously and my last car was

done using Amazing Glaze. My current car done using System 6 2 months ago. I have

also done my own polishing using Autoglym.

From my experience, Amazing Glaze is good but too expensive.

System 6 is good but you need to maintain it during washing.

I add some polish into my car shampoo.

Unlike the other people I was quite impress with their handling

as I did my on a weekday morning and was the 1st car.

Whenever I wash my car, it looks brand new so i really have no complaint about System 6. In fact, if I change car, I will probable bring it back there again!

Cheers!

Have you heard of Groomworks. Fellow forumers say their service is not bad and $450 for 4 times. also uses Autoglym or Zaino or Meguiar. Try searching the other threads for it [thumbsup]

today, I tried and regretted

I was waiting in the waiting room, didn't see carefully, suspect they didn't wash my car before the polish cos when I saw the person polishing, I immediately went out, and it completely dried, even the wheels.

When the person in charge told me the car is ok, I went in and realise the interior is not vaccum, got to ask them to do it

Went home and realise, my rims are still dirty, they didn't clean my rims.

Run my fingers through the polish, it does not feel as waxed and smooth as other polishing, suspect is only 'thinly' polished
