Paint work regain?

my car just brought a week ago from friend but find that all paint lacquer has drop off and cannot do a wax as it has no effect. some of the paint work dropping off too. thinking of doing a touch up on the paint work and lacquer without doing respraying. Any idea which company can do the job well. and of cause cheap. [thumbsup]

Sounds like U need a new top coat, that'll cost around $600-$800.

but then my paint work is alot chip off and also my paint lacquer is no longer there so there is no shine on my car... May i know how to regain the shine with cheap cost and paint all my chip spot.. Need advice urgently.. If got can check for me the rough pricing and address?... Thanks Brother.. [sweatdrop]

well i m sure chipsaway (paya ubi 5th storey above yap brothers n mcwell ventures)

definitely can touch up all ur chip spots to orgininal condition at a reasonable price ( i guess [scholar]

Actually, the best thing to do, if u r keeping the car for long, is to repaint the whole car with a colour you like with metallic paint. It will be expensive, but it will defintely keep you [:)][nod][:)] . The more important thing is to polish the car at reasonably interval, said once in two - three months and wash your car. With polishing on your metallic paint, your car will definetly look as shiny as new car. [sunny]

Actually to respray the car with the same colour (metallic paint) cost about $700 - $800. Over 3 years will be like $250 per year. I think it will be a good investment if you like your car to shine. If you want to save that money, you just have to live with your current condition for the next 3 years... which could be [blush][:|]
