Where can I Duplicate keyless entery thing (transponder)

Hi Everyone,

 

Today, I misplaced my car keys. I am now using my duplicate. I am worried that I may loose this duplicate with the keyless remote (transponder?). I am driving an Aveo.

 

Where can I have this transponder duplicated. There was an advert in the ST recently of this service, but I did not keep the paper. Can anyone help? Thanks

go back to StarsAuto and they can do another key for you. there is a small metal tag with numbers on it (comes with the 2 sets of key when you first collected your car), bring along.

 

alternatively, go to chuan hi-fi (check yellow pages for address). they are the sub contractor for aveo's sound system and alarm system.

 

dont worry, those remote keys very easy to do one

SA has duplicates of your car key, you just have to show them the metal tag.

 

they will then syncho the frequency for all your keys + car.

Dont need to go back SA.

You can got to Jalan Besar Plaza

Level 2 and look for Mr Lim.

 

Wheels Alarm distributor is located

there. If U go SA, most likely they

will charge you more than Agent.

 

Also I believe that they do not have

extra remote with them and I doubt the

alarm mechanic know how to re-code the

new controller..

 

Also if you go to agent, you can choose

controller model..

They have Long ones, coloured ones too..

 

Also, It is a 20min job and if you go

SA, they will charge you cos misplacment

is not covered in warranty and bet they

will ask you to Q and prepare for at least

1 hour waiting time..

 

The Keyless Entry title is given to controller

with integrated keys.. Just like the Optra..

Ours are nothing facinating except got alarm.

Nowadays which car dun have alarm??

 

Even a Old 1986 Lorry also have alarm

It is whether you have integrated key w transporter

and that is really something that can gladly and loudly

announce LOUD.. Good Job Optra
