Err....although Delo 400 is good oil, but the packaging that it comes in is 18 litres.... A bit troublesome to keep so much quantity of oil....sweatdrop.gif

You can try. No leaks, drop down to use cxxxxxe 5W40 or any cheap 5W40 you can find. Esso Ultron also not bad. MB229.3 rated.

hmmm...

this site states that schaeffer supreme 7000 5w30, 10w30, 20w50 are MB 229.3

http://www.whnet.com/4x4/oil.html

however, on schaeffer's own site

http://www.schaefferoil.com/datapdf/701.pdf

http://www.schaefferoil.com/datapdf/703.pdf

its only 229.1

only 20w50 is 229.3 based from schaeffer's site, but its too thick for my liking

http://www.schaefferoil.com/datapdf/705.pdf

i need 229.3 oil.. guess i have to stick with Esso Ultron 5w40? [:/]

Most 5W40s are known to shear. Esso, cxxxxxe, whats the diff. Use the cheaper one since everyone prefers 10k OCIs.

You are right.

Why pay more if cheaper oil can do the same job.

Cheap oil is here to stay.

Group II+ mineral oil but a damn good one for its price. Not recommended if you have blow-by. If it leaks into your exhaust, it will ruin your cat if you car comes with one. If you don't care about the cat, go use it!

Will a oil catch tank help to avoid the problem?
