Tanzy Clutched October 10, 2004 Share October 10, 2004 I keep getting yellow spots showing up on my car. I get them all day except at night. Doesn't really leave a stain but irritating to keep having to wipe it off the car. What are those anyway? ↡ Advertisement

Tanzy Clutched October 10, 2004 Author Share October 10, 2004 Birds don't pee! They can't. They can only poop. These yellow spots are small. No larger than an apple seed and often half that.

Tanzy Clutched October 10, 2004 Author Share October 10, 2004 I can get it even if my car is parked on the driveway not under any trees. I don't get it when my car is in a basement carpark though. I suspect it is some kind of insect poop.

Assassin Clutched October 10, 2004 Share October 10, 2004 (edited) Hi tanzy, The yellow spots are tree sap. You can get them even your car is not parked near the trees, all it takes is a slight breeze. Try to wipe them off whenever you see them on your ride. Tanzy Clutched October 10, 2004 Author Share October 10, 2004 What kind of tree are they from? I need to buy a chain saw as part of the detailing kit. They don't leave a mark unlike bird or bat poop, so sometimes I let them be for a while. Usually, I wipe the car once in the morning and then once more after dinner. ↡ Advertisement
