Aikshin Neutral Newbie October 7, 2004 Share October 7, 2004 hi all, need to enquire, say right now the tyres are pump with nitrogen which can lasts longer w/o any re-fill unlike using air. what happens in the future, i want to pump air back into the tyres instead of using nitrogen, how do you initiate this process ? deflate the entire tyre and pump air back again ? or simply mix in the air into the existing nitrogen filled tyres ? thanks ↡ Advertisement
Biccat Neutral Newbie October 8, 2004 Share October 8, 2004 Not necessary at all. After all, air consists of 78% Nitrogen. With subsequent fill-ups, the proportion of nitrogen will progressively decreased until it is the same as air. Why go thru' all this trouble? We are not talking about F1 where even 100th or 1000th of a sec matters. ↡ Advertisement
