How Many Layer of KSG can I apply

Nope. Sonus spritz will not stripe off KSG.

In fact, Sonus spritz is formulated to use on German acrylic sealants (ie, Klasse)

and British resin polishes (ie, Autoglym).

It will enhance gloss while removing light dust, finger prints and water spots.

wud HG88 strip KSG? mine routine now is to recoat an extra layer of KSG after everytime i wash the car wif shampoo.... so far 3 layers. KSG doesnt hv the smooth smooth feelin... so contemplating to try a layer of HG88 over it but i scared it will strip the KSG.... oso wif AIO+water (quik detailing spray bottle) strip SG? some how mine car dun keep the smooth smooth feeling for long... the shiny look is there ...

 

my routine once every 4wks:

1) Wash car wif shampoo

2) Wash rims

3) Rinse

4) Claybar

5) Rinse

6) Dry

7) Polish - toof, boot, bonnet

8) Buff

9) AIO 2 layers

10) Buff

11) KSG 1 layer

if you want the sleek feel, must use pure wax. sealants (klasse, hg88) will give glossy look but in sleekness.

 

btw, i m using hg88 and no, no sleek feel too

Actually, none of t things u say above will really gives u slick feeling.

Most car will tends to lost the slick feeling after sometime fom the 1st

appplication of the car care products.

It just depends on the durability of the products and the way ur car is been used.

Tats y t market comes out with quick detailers and "bossters".

 

I am not sure if HG88 will strip KSG.

But s long s t products got cleaning capabilities, KSG will be strip.

AIO+water will strip off KSG bit by bit.

 

If u really wants the slick feeling, there r one cheap way tat i can think off.

Clay bar ur car every wash. Sure gives u the slick feeling.

But your KSG will also be clayed away slowly.

or

If u dun mind paying abit more, get the Sonus Glanz.

It will gives u the results as though u juz K ur car.

But 1 thing to bear in mind though. It's juz a "booster" and it will not

be lasting as compare to re-doing t K on ur car.

forgot to ask u how long will Sonus Glanz last per application? if say i wash once a week with just water (no shampoo).

I think the Booster can last around 1week without any rainfall. Don't forget this is only a QD.

 

For me due I cleaning my ride everyday. So what I intend to do is:

 

1. Every weekend apply one layer of KSG after a good washing.

2. Every Wednesday after the cleaning just apply the Sonus QD.

 

I think I keep doing this, my ride shall look tip top everyday.

 

If the body is still clean & shine I shall not doing any claying & AIO. I think this is not nescessary.

 

I don't know my concept is correct or not please give me comments!!!

u r hardworking...KSG every week :) wish i cld b like u. my lazy style is to do up 3 layers of KSG per 3 mths and do QD weekly.

Anyway, I got nothing to do during weekend, kids all grow up, wife like to shopping along. So, what to do, take care my second wife, do some excises at least good for a middle age guy like me

 

I think your method is also good to maintain the shine.

Just to highlight to u. Actually the time for QD and the time to reapply a layer of KSG is almost the same. We still need to buff after spray the QD.

right now i'm using meguair's QD and it's much easier to apply and buff off than KSG. i can do it in abt 15 mins for the whole car. but am itching to get and try sonus when i hv the time

Hi Everybody,

 

Just done my 5th layer of KSG. Still using wipe on wipe off method. Very easy.

 

The result:

 

May be I get use to the Shine of Klasse. So for my view it's the same.

But I can noticed the panel I layer already is look a bit shiner than

the panel I haven't layer.

 

I will keep on layer the KSG and update here.
