Dow component General Motors slid 1.4%. In an attempt to save flagging September sales, the auto maker is planning a three-day sale next week that will give buyers interest-free loans for 72 months on most 2004 models. Other auto makers didn't signal they would follow such an aggressive strategy, which could boost sales but ultimately end up eating more into the bottom line.

if only this applies in Singapore, is will be a good time to buy GM brands of cars.... unsure.gif

wow.... dun think it is possible to be applied in Singapore.

Car prices so high, interest will be super high also. If they dun charge interest, they will go bust! [sweatdrop]

But of cos, it will be a great deal for consumers.

oh ya, you are right about tan chong credit. in fact, those small PIs and credit companies also do financing but of course, due to limited $$ resources, dont think they can offer 0 interest.

hehehe when ah long san is out, maybe he can make a comeback and offer 0 interest for 72mths, just to get himself famous again nod.gif
