BFGoodrich g-force sport

Anyone has any experience with the above tyre?

 

How does it perform in terms of:

a) dry and wet grip

b) noise level

c) tyre wear

 

Should one be concern that it is made in Thailand?

I am using the 15" tyres with my Enkei CPSII rims. Good grip both dry and wet. Noise level is a bit bad. Can really hear it even when traveling at 40km/h. Got used to the noise after 1 mth though. Tyre wear, still early for me. Just got it last month!

Actually, I just want a decent set of rubber that is:

 

a) not too noisy

b) decent dry and wet grip (no more than 100km/h on dry and wet condition )

 

I guess it will not be as noisy as my current set.

 

Anyway, are yours made in Thailand? And where and how much you got them?

It was 18" experience

 

a) dry and wet quite good

b) very loud after 10K

c) very solid, that y got noise.

 

U haven't changed car meh?

So it is not suitable for me. My AVS Sports is bloody loud, that's why looking for replacement.

 

Any good recommendation?

Get the Goodyear F1 GS-D3, from Germany not Thailand (thai made that model very bad).

 

Or go JB to change, cheaper and good too. PM me if you need the address.

I using it on my 14"...like the rest mentioned. is good on dry and wet, but quite noisy, yet a durable set. So depend on your priority, if u need a cheap and safe set of rubber, this is a good choice. I read somewhere, this 2 yrs will be a raining season. So better look for a good wet grip tyre.

I fully understand the need for wet grip. But cannot "tahan" the noise from the AVS Sports anymore. It is driving me crazy.

 

My current set of rubber has the best grip I have experienced. Always praying for rain and looking for puddle of water to charge thru.

 

Moving forward, will have to "avoid" puddle of water liow.

u must paid a high price for the avs sport,then good tires but nosy

Well, I guessed I would consider them very expensive for what I paid for the BFGoodrich.

 

Anyway, have been running with the BFG for the past 1 month. After using the AVS Sports for the past 2.5 years, I would rate the noise level as LOW.

 

My wife has fallen asleep in the car many times in the past month. Something which she has never done for the past 2.5 years.....

Tried asking for 225/40/18s everywhere 6 months ago and they told me that BFGoodrich do have them in that size but the distributor didn't want to bring them in.....

 

Where did you get them and how much???

Bought it together my 18" rim which were indent from Germany.

But my comment for this rim: very noise but very durable.
