Abner11 Neutral Newbie September 16, 2004 Share September 16, 2004 Hi all, I need to change my 4 tyres very soon. I'm thinking of the following with 195/55 R15: 1. ST115 2. ZE512 3. Michelin tyres Any advise on the price and workshop to go? Thanks in advance. ↡ Advertisement
Honda_vtec Neutral Newbie September 16, 2004 Share September 16, 2004 How about Pirelli? Think the 6000+ is GOOD!!!
Capricorn Neutral Newbie September 16, 2004 Share September 16, 2004 So how much is that? I am using Falken DIGNEO 640, quite good comfort "AAA" and slient "AAA". $120/piece.
Biccat Neutral Newbie September 17, 2004 Share September 17, 2004 I've used only ST115 so far. Good all round tyres overall but noise level increased after about 10K rpm.
Robin 4th Gear September 17, 2004 Share September 17, 2004 I'm using 195/55 R15 ST115 ... good grip in dry/wet, bit noisy (maybe my car sound proofing not so good).. ZE512 specs should come quite close to the ST115 ... not sure about Michelin though
Hoppe Clutched September 17, 2004 Share September 17, 2004 me using ZE512 specs but quite noisy leh. maybe it's my car..haha

Robin 4th Gear September 17, 2004 Share September 17, 2004 yah thats why i mentioned ZE512's specs is almost the same as ST115... a little bit noisy lah! Consider Sound proofing your door?
Luckcent 4th Gear September 17, 2004 Share September 17, 2004 Quote How about Pirelli? Think the 6000+ is GOOD!!! Had bad experience with the Pirelli tyres. Better be careful.
Abner11 Neutral Newbie September 17, 2004 Author Share September 17, 2004 So far the negative feedbacks of Falken tyres are noisy, otherwise the grip on dry and wet(especially) are good. I think if I want better grip, then I have to sacrifice some quietness when driving. Btw, I still dunno which tyre to go, and the brand I knew is limited, so I do appreciate those that had recommended other brand that I didn't list down. (I'm confuse... ) Do you guys remember how much you paid for those tyres? Thanks.

Luckcent 4th Gear September 20, 2004 Share September 20, 2004 The side of the tyres came out and wrap itself around the drive shaft forcing car to swerve to one side, and it was dangerous. ↡ Advertisement
