Suspension noise when over bumps

Experience the above with my Octy.

 

Anyone else has this? I believe its just some loose bolts underneath.

 

Have not had the time to take a look.

What kind of noise? Is it a hissing sound?

alot of sounds appear when you go over a hump, bro. Guess you need to be specific on what kind they are.

sounds like a lower arm or cv joint problem?

A loud 'thud' and 'clug' plus a slight 'trenggggg' on the front right (I think)

suspension.

I hope the above was descriptive enough.

 

I was hoping any other VAG owners with the same platform, ie Toledo, Bora, Audi A4,

can point me to the solution.

 

I take all the help I can get on this, cos dont want to see the car doctor yet as he will

start to prescribe all sorts of pills and medicine that is unnecessary.

 

The sound was not there when I took the car about 6 months ago. Should also add

the sound came after a lot of hard driving in Malaysia.

Could be just a loose nut, thats all.

My front driver side suspension is giving out hissing sound when go over humps, does anyone know what is the cause ?

Wah piangz, this thread is like 4 years ago man. Hissing sound is normal for stock absorbers when u go over hump. Normally knocking sound then something wrong. Speaking from experience.
