Porker Turbocharged September 8, 2004 Share September 8, 2004 (edited) Called up NTUC and they told me they only accept with 50% NCD. Else they don't insure. AXA doesn't insure as well. #&"&%!%$#!%!% Oh yeah I have never owned a car. Edited September 8, 2004 by Brandonsoh ↡ Advertisement
Bernard_2 Neutral Newbie September 8, 2004 Share September 8, 2004 Is normal. As your car is under high risk, high performance plus 2 doors and value is too high. And some company would not take in even they take in there should be some condition attached like...cover only car owner, extreme high permium and die die must be 1st party, insurance claim only after 500 or 1K ...... Mojoe Neutral Newbie September 8, 2004 Share September 8, 2004 yup... these days it's like that... yours is 2-door and a convertible... and since you don't own a car before, all the more they don't dare to take... unless you are over 30 then maybe have a chance

Porker Turbocharged September 9, 2004 Author Share September 9, 2004 Its not even remotely close to high performance except maybe the handling
Mojoe Neutral Newbie September 9, 2004 Share September 9, 2004 it's not... but it's a 2-door car and most insurance firms classify 2-doors together with performance cars... i think they reckon it's less safe because you have 2 doors less to get out in an emergency. further, as mentioned, it's a convertible... even less safe.. so for someone without driving experience or young (most see 30 and below young... some even 35 and below), most will either slap on a high premium (i have heard of $6k before) or even refusing to insure.
